Review by Rainbo Electronic Reviews November 1 1994
Each of these clever books is filled with picture drawings about everyday life. Each page is a drawing of a thing or a roomful of things. Each item is labeled in Chinese or Japanese along with the English word and the pictograph of the word. There is a short section on pronunciation and a bit of explanation about each language.
These are both valuable books to introduce a first grader or so to the intricacies of a new language and learning that one of these languages would be nice to know. Even an adult might learn from this method.
