Illustrator Greg Ellis has been interested in art since he was a young boy. He has studied art in Michigan, Hawai‘i, and Japan. His illustrations are inspired by his children’s experiences growing up in the Islands. His other book is Baby’s First 1-2-3 in Hawai‘i and Baby’s First ABC in Hawai‘i.
